esctoday.com is the most visited independent Eurovision related website in Netherlands, serving the need for news to fans, participants, broadcasters and everybody else.

Esctoday.com first entered the world wide web shortly before the Eurovision Song Contest of 2000. When I joined "founding father" Sietse Bakker a couple of months later, during the preperations for the contest of 2001 it still wasn't much. Back then I mainly wrote columns and news articles.
In the years to come we gradually moved from a plain HTML website to a rather advanced custom made CMS, supporting the need for 30 international editors to enter news articles, in-depth specials and all the information on past- and present eurovision participants.
During the last years my work for esctoday.com has mainly been the development of new features and maintainance of the software.
